Sue Jordan with her “Live It Well” and exercise/training program are treasures in my life. As a lot of stories start, once upon a time, I was extremely physically fit working out at least 3 times a week, and for a time running 4 miles a day while caring for young children. Somewhere between returning to school, helping my husband and working, I started the slow but continuing process of gaining weight and not working out. My husband became ill and died in 1992. I closed our Judo school, started working full time and ran my children everywhere needed. Finally, when I turned 60 last February I reached my all time high weight of 193 lbs. NOT GOOD.
Enter Sue and Paul. Paul I have known since he was 15 and Sue since they married. They said join us. And Sue said, “It’s all good.” With the “Live It Well” and Sue’s amazing circuit training type exercise classes, I am well on my way to a goal of weight loss, good health and more stamina. I have lost 25 lbs, can make it through Sue’s hour long workouts with more vigor and am not falling, which really scared me. I have gone from a size 16 to a 12. I am on my way! I have hopes that in March 2010 I will be near my goal. I am 5’ 5” and would like to weigh about 135. We will see. But it will be Sue’s warm belief in people that will be my boost through to the end. When I came to Sue for help I had high blood pressure, cholesterol problems and my doctor was going to put me on blood pressure medicine at the age of 34. Within 4 weeks I lost 15 pounds and lowered my blood pressure and cholesterol enough to keep me off of medicine. I have been working out at Professional Fitness Solutions since November of 2007. I started out with (LIW) the intention of losing a few pounds for an upcoming wedding, what resulted was a dramatic change both in my body and in my lifestyle. I workout three days a week, each class is different, but it is truly a full body workout.
In the spring of 2008 I participated in Sue Jordan's liveitwell program. I was very skeptical because I am a very picky eater and I set my six week goal at ten pounds. After the first week I had lost 6 pounds, after six weeks I had lost about 16 pounds and 7.5% body fat. The best part is IT'S NOT A DIET; you can still eat real food and go to restaurants. It teaches you how to change your thinking about food and exercise. With the tools Sue teaches I have been able to maintain my weight loss and my healthy lifestyle for over two years! Oh and by the way I looked great for that wedding!!
In December of 2005 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and struggled with controlling this ever changing disease. My doctors recommended I change a few things in my life such as diet and workout routine; as we all know it's easier said than done! it wasn't until November 2007 when I started with Sue Jordan at Professional Fitness Solutions that I truly took steps to change my life. This workout routine has been a critical part of life style ever since. What I discovered at PFS was not only a great workout program but also wonderful and supportive people that I now see as part of my extended family.

I had so much more energy and had fewer MS symptoms. I never thought something as simple as a change in diet could alter something so damaging as MS. Since liveitwell is so simple to follow, I have been able to stay with the program and keep off the weight! Overall, it's not about weight, it's about living a happier and healthier life!
I wanted to lose weight for my daughter's wedding just over a year away. I had tried to lose weight before, but was not very successful.. My daughter talked me into trying the liveitwell program. During the 6 week program I actually learned how to eat properly. The first two weeks were the toughest, but in the end, it was well worth it. I lost 13 lbs. & have pretty much kept it off. I am more aware of what I eat and taking the course has given me a healthier lifestyle to follow. I am now exercising with Sue Jordan's guidance. Even though I complain A LOT, I actually enjoy exercising. Sue is a caring and supportive person and trainer. She is always watching over us.

I have had challenges with my weight all my life. When I was young, I was very thin. I attribute this to a very active childhood and my family’s healthy eating habits. In my teens, I still remained thin by participating in cross-country and track. When I turned 18 I had a job as a secretary, and that is when I began gaining weight. The lack of physical exercise and my eating habits had me jump from 130 pounds to 186. From there the dieting began: not eating, eating low-fat, the cabbage-soup diet, the Atkins diet, the South Beach diet, and I am sure there were many more. There was always some weight loss, but it came right back on once the dieting stopped.

I had driven by Professional Fitness Solutions many times and I finally gave them a call to see what they offered. I belonged to many gyms, but I only participated in exercise classes, which were usually impersonal and, once I found a good instructor, that person inevitably left. Once I tried one of Sue Jordan’s classes, I was hooked. The session was fun, full of variety, energetic, and personalized. I began to see results right away. Unfortunately, some of my eating and drinking habits prevented me from reaching my goals. I heard Sue talk about her liveitwell™ program, and I spoke with a few of her clients about it. In February 2006, I began the liveitwell™ classes taught by Sue Jordan. I was finally ready to make the proper changes for my health that I knew were necessary for me to be re-directed, motivated, and supported.
The classes did all of this and more, teaching me lifestyle changes that have made me feel great, inside and out. I have so much more energy now, and I feel so much better about myself. I began losing weight each week, and continued to increase the amount of exercise I was doing, working out five to six days a week and participating in a running club. A big dream of mine had always been to run the Cleveland 10K Marathon in under an hour. I am now running my third half-marathon!

Since my husband and I got married, we each gained about 20 to 30 pounds. My husband had to start taking pills to lower his cholesterol and high blood pressure, and for someone who has never had high blood pressure problems, I had to start taking two high blood pressure pills a day. I tried everything to lose weight. I always drank diet pop, used artificial sweeteners, and stuck with diet foods, but absolutely nothing worked for me. I felt so swollen, and nothing I did was helping, not even exercising.

I could not believe that everything I thought would help me lose weight was doing nothing more than making me bigger. We started drinking a protein shake for breakfast, we ate salad just about every day for lunch, and dinner usually consisted of tilapia or all-natural chicken with steamed veggies. Sue explained that since the liver processes everything we eat, it is necessary to cleanse it in order to keep it working and healthy. Her nutritional advice is to eat an apple, a beet, and a carrot everyday to cleanse the liver, and my husband and I added this plan to our daily diets. We have learned so much from this program.
You would not believe the change in us. I started liveitwell™ at 188 pounds and to date I've lost 31 pounds. My husband was at 272 pounds and he’s lost 35. We both have more energy and my doctor has released me from all of my high blood pressure medication. My husband was told that he didn’t need the cholesterol pills anymore.
